It is noteworthy that in just 17 months - from August 2016 to December 2017 - the Polish oil and gas company supplied to the Ukrainian market more than 1 billion cubic meters of natural gas. In 2017, gas supplies to Ukraine doubled, reaching more than 700 million cubic meters.

Vice-president of PGNiG Maciej Vozhnyak said that "these results are very encouraging".

He also added that their supplies are reliable and safe, which is of great importance for Ukraine.

The gas portfolio in the Polish proposal is well diversified. It comes from domestic production of the country and from various import directions.

As previously reported in URA-Inform, the increase in prices and natural gas in Ukraine is a positive factor for the economy. Such data was circulated by the IMF permanent representative in Ukraine, Jost Ljungman - during the round table.
