To prepare and decorate the festive table conditional Ukrainian today intends to spend an average of 806 hryvnia, for gifts to relatives and friends - 769 hryvnia, and for other New Year's expenses - 721 hryvnia. Such data of the poll was published by the company Research & Branding Group.

At the same time, this amount should be understood as rather conditional, reflecting a certain central tendency in the holiday expenses planned by Ukrainians, - experts in marketing noted, adding that in reality the amounts of these expenses will differ significantly in different families.

At the same time, according to the company, half of the Ukrainian families planning to spend New Year's spending will spend less than 1250 hryvnia in aggregate, and the second half will be more than this amount. Recall, as reported by URA-Inform, in September-October 2017 real wages of Ukrainian citizens decreased by one percent. This is evidenced by the data of the State Statistics Service. So, only during January-November 2017 the official average wage record for Ukrainian citizens was established: in Kiev - 10792 hryvnia, in the Kiev region - 6999 hryvnia and in the Dnepropetrovsk region - 6 760 hryvnia.
