NKRECU announced an increase in electricity prices by 16%. The National Commission implementing state regulation in the energy and utilities sectors in 2018 will raise the price for electricity by almost 16%. This follows from the procedure for the formation of the wholesale-market price of electricity, promulgated on the regulator's website, Ukrinform reports.. The increase should take place in two stages. As noted, it is planned to increase the wholesale-market price from January 1 to 9.5%, from April 1 - by an additional 6.1%. Earlier it was reported that tariffs for electricity in Ukraine are the highest in Europe. At the same time AMCU advises to start importing electricity from economic expediency.
