The state monopolized the right to dispose of the accumulative pensions of Russians for another year. In accordance with the law, which was signed by President Vladimir Putin, the accumulative part of pensions will be "frozen" until 2020. The document was published on Wednesday on the official website of legal information and will come into force on January 1 of the new 2018. In fact, these funds will not be available to their owners - future pensioners, they can not dispose of them. Earlier, before the so-called "freeze" regime was introduced in 2014, Russian citizens could make a decision on whether to let this money into the piggy bank of their own pension, or transfer it to the insurance part, but at the same time improve their initial position , having received additional points when calculating their insurance pension, when it will be calculated with, as previously said, care for a well-deserved rest. But until 2020, the government received a monopoly right to use this financial resource and let it go to payments to "current" pensioners.

In the Association of non-state pension funds, before the extension of the freeze period of funded pensions, it was estimated that because of it, by 2020, the losses of the domestic economy will amount to 6 trillion rubles.

Naturally, APFs have "self interest" here, but through them serious money has flowed into the economic life in the form of investments, so their argument is really serious. But, apparently, while another way to improve the affairs of the Pension Fund of Russia, a gap in the budget of which, according to the forecast of the Ministry of Labor only next year will be 105.3 billion rubles, was not found.
