This decision was made today, December 20, at a session of the Kharkiv City Council.
According to the mayor of Gennady Kernes, in 2018 Kharkov schoolchildren will use free ground electric transport services, and for the first time the city authorities granted them a 50% privilege for travel in the subway.
"Also we leave privileges for travel to all privileged categories of citizens - this year this too is our priority. Today in the city a single ticket for electric transport is put into effect, in the near future the "E-ticket" system will be connected to the metro. I think that we will show a good result in the issue of travel of the preferential contingent and its accounting, "said Gennady Kernes.
Let's note, the exemption privilege for students of general education institutions will be from September 1 to June 30.
