At the same time in November the prices for meat, sausages, and groceries fell, and bread and milk jumped. As the journalists of the newspaper Segodnya calculated, the highest prices for groceries, potatoes and vegetables of borscht sets were recorded in the Donetsk region.

However, in Lviv, on the contrary, vegetables are the cheapest. In the Odessa region, the third consecutive month, stable prices for bread, and they are the lowest in Ukraine.

At the same time, experts are sure that such a situation with vegetables and potatoes is connected with the fact that before the onset of frosts, producers at any price give products on the wholesale markets not of the highest quality, so as not to be spent for its storage.

According to analysts, by the end of the year, one should not expect big fluctuations in prices for Ukrainian vegetables, but import prices may increase in proportion to the dollar rate, which has sharply increased since the second decade of December.

Also, according to forecasts, prices for meat and eggs stabilize, but dairy products will traditionally be more expensive than in November.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, in October, the average price of potatoes was equal to 6.3 hryvnia per kilogram.
