Just a few days ago it became known that the Central Bank was thinking about withdrawing a 50-ruble banknote from circulation. This despite the fact that even relatively recently paper 10 rubles replaced with "iron". According to experts, this is a gradual devaluation of the ruble. Yuri Danilov, director of the expert-analytical center of the North-Eastern Federal University (NEFU), noted that in the Republic of Sakha (and in other regions too, I must say, too) people practically stopped paying coins worth less than 1 ruble. The same rare is a denomination of 50 rubles. "At ATMs, when you cash out, there are usually no such bills.

Money in the country in recent years has significantly depreciated, "- said the expert in an interview with Regnum. In his opinion, in the near future, Russians most likely will not switch to settlement by bank transfer. At the same time, the ruble should be subjected to a denomination, says Danilov. "Say, 100 times.

Then the exchange rate of the ruble to the dollar will reach the level of the USSR, "said a specialist.

Also Danilov expressed his opinion on the probability of default in the country. In his view, while such a prospect on the horizon is not visible - Russia has very large international reserves. To date, they estimate at almost $ 430 billion. However, the crisis in the banking sector is not completely excluded, which will be accompanied by a further revocation of licenses from banks.
