OPEC countries agreed to extend oil production restriction for 2018

As noted, the summit is now discussing the effectiveness of the agreement in mid-2018. In turn, the increase in quotas to reduce oil production is not discussed.

Thus, in support of the agreement, Saudi Oil Minister Khalid al-Falih, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak, representatives of Iran and Iraq.

At the end of 2016 g. OPEC countries and a number of other states agreed to reduce oil production by 1.8 million barrels per day until the middle of this year, in May the agreement was prolonged until March 2018.

Recall, as reported earlier by URA-Inform, the organization of oil-exporting countries gave a small analysis on the growth in oil demand at the end of 2017 - early 2018.
