The Ministry of Finance welcomes the launch of the Android Pay contactless payment system. Today, Finance Minister Alexander Danilyuk took part in the official launch of Android Pay in Ukraine, the press service of the department.

Together with the Director General of Google Ukraine Dmitry Sholomko, the Minister tested the ease of using the system.

"Ukraine became the fifteenth country in the world, where the system of contactless payments Android Pay. I greet the teams of Google Ukraine, Privatbank, Oschadbank with this achievement!

The launch of Android Pay is another proof that the Ukrainian market is attractive to leading innovative companies, "said Danilyuk.

He added that thanks to such services, Ukraine is moving towards cashless economy, in which there is no corruption and abuses.

Android Pay allows you to purchase offline and online with your smartphone. Now in Ukraine, Android Pay works with Visa and Mastercard cards of clients of PrivatBank and Oschadbank, but the list of banks will be constantly updated, noted in Google Ukraine.
