Ukraine is one of the leaders in the export of goods to the EU

This was reported by Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Nikolskaya.

Exporting goods to the EU is already authorized by more than 300 enterprises. Most of all Europeans are interested in food comrades, like casein, ice cream, honey, corn, sunflower oil and others.

According to her, the most interesting example of a successful reorientation to other markets is the Ukrainian ice cream.

Ukraine has always focused on the Russian market, but since the entry into force of the free trade zone with the EU. By the way, more than 16 enterprises producing dairy products have received certification in order to export their products to the EU market.



Finally, the Minister added that one of the leaders in the growth of exports to the EU is also the woodworking industry, in particular the products of the furniture industry.

As previously reported URA-Inform, the export of Ukrainian products to the Canadian market in the first half of 2017 amounted to 22.7 million dollars, which is 76.3% more than for the same period in 2016. According to the minister, the Ukrainian business has already started trial deliveries of its products to Canada.
