According to the agency, Ukraine increased the volume of purchases of raw materials for the fourth time in the GTS op compared to 2016 year. This indicator is the maximum since 2011.
The main suppliers of gas for Ukraine were the European Union countries, in particular, imports grew:.
- from Slovakia - 7.1 cubic meters - from Hungary - 1.5 cubic meters - from Poland - 0.8 cubic meters In general, the volume of purchases increased by 95 percent and amounted to 9.5 cubic meters of gas.
This year the country managed to replenish its own reserves and gas storage facilities by seven billion cubic meters.
It should be noted that at present the UGS has less than 15 billion cubic meters of gas.
As reported in URA-Inform, recently the National Joint Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine began to supply natural gas to our country through the subsidiary Swiss company Naftogaz Trading Europe S.
