The government also reduced the period for which household incomes are taken into account, from four to two last quarters. As stated in Cabinet of Ministers Decision No. 609, from now on there is the possibility of granting a subsidy to an incompetent person upon the request of a guardian, the issue of paying an appointed subsidy for the purchase of solid fuel and liquefied gas in case of death of the person to whom the grant was granted.

The government also decided that the subsidy will not be assigned only if there is a debt, the total amount of which will exceed 20 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens.

The relevant resolution also revised the social norms for gas consumption for domestic needs, regulated the issues of calculating unused amounts of subsidies by associations of co-owners of an apartment building and housing cooperatives.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adapted the social status of citizens before the date of appointment of the subsidy, and also brought social norms of gas closer to the real consumption of the service.
