Today, during trading, the European currency reached the highest level for the year paired with the dollar. At the same time, after the speech of the vice-president of the European Central Bank Vitora Constancio, the euro slowed slightly the rise.

In turn, the fall of the dollar intensified the speeches of the leaders of the Federal Reserve System and the transfer of voting in the Senate on the finalized republican bill on health care reform in the USA. Market participants doubt that the reforms promised by the White House, including changes in taxation, will be implemented.

So today, at ten o'clock in the morning, the euro was worth 1.1360 dollars compared to $ 1.1339 at the close of the session in New York on Tuesday. Thus, the single currency appreciated by 1.4%, demonstrating the most significant recovery in more than a year.

The dollar's exchange rate against the Japanese national currency is stable - 112.33 yen against 112.35 yesterday, the euro paired with the yen rose to 127.61 yen from 127.40 yen in the previous session.
