The National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar on Thursday, May 11, at the level of UAH 26.45 / dollar, lowering it by five cents compared to the previous working day (26.50 UAH / USD on Wednesday, May 10).

The euro is set at 28.78 UAH / EUR (May 10 - UAH 29.05), 10 rubles - UAH 4.554 / ruble (May 10 - UAH 4.528).

On April 13, the NBU decided to reduce the discount rate from 14% to 13% per annum. "Restoring the cycle of monetary policy mitigation is consistent with the need to achieve inflation targets in 2017-2019 and will support the pace of economic growth," the NBU said..

At the same time, the inflation rate will remain within the previously outlined indicators. The inflation forecast for 2017 remains at the level of 9.1%, for 2018 at the level of 6%. In 2019, inflation is projected to decline to 5%.
