Since May, Ukraine has increased the pace of filling gas storage facilities, the daily injection mode has doubled to 42 million cubic meters, according to the Public Relations and Press Department of PJSC "Ukrtransgas". Since the beginning of this year, 0.6 billion cubic meters of blue fuel has been pumped into the underground gas storage facilities, which is twice as much as in the same period last year.

In particular, in April the gas storages were replenished by 0.43 billion cubic meters, which is also twice more than last year's indicators.

As of today, 8,478 billion cubic meters of blue fuel is stored in domestic UGS facilities, and injection takes place at five storage facilities.

At the same time, according to the central dispatch department of the gas transportation system operator, for four months of the current total Ukraine's consumption amounted to 14 billion cubic meters, which fully corresponds to the indicators of the previous year.

The press service recalls that during the current heating season only 6.7 billion cubic meters of blue fuel was withdrawn from domestic gas storage facilities, which is 21% less for the same period last year.
