The national joint-stock company Naftogaz of Ukraine will send 13.2 billion UAH of dividends to the state budget on results of its activities for 2016. The corresponding decision was taken at a government meeting today, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
It is noted that this amount is half the profit of Naftogaz for the reporting year.
According to the government's decision, the remaining 50% will be distributed as follows: 5% of net profit (1.3 billion hryvnia) will be directed to reserve capital, and 45% of net profit (11.9 billion hryvnia) - for development.
Dividends are to be paid no later than June 30, 2017.
