The Russian government has decided to provide electricity to the occupied territories of the Lugansk region, said the authorized representative of the Russian Federation in the contact group for the settlement of the situation in the Donbass Boris Gryzlov.
"In accordance with the actions of the Government of Ukraine, the Government of the Russian Federation decided to provide electricity from the Russian Federation within the framework of humanitarian support," he said..
The Russian representative, at the same time, said that the situation with the power outage in the ORLO allegedly "stands in a series of other actions that actually tear away certain regions of the Donbass from Ukraine".
Gryzlov also said that ORDLO does not have the opportunity to pay for electricity because of the "deliberate economic blockade by Ukraine".
