Germany is ready to facilitate the return to their homeland of Ukrainian men who will receive temporary protection. Ukraine is waiting for their return for protection from Russian aggression and post-war reconstruction.
This was stated at a joint press conference after negotiations in Berlin by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
“The number of Ukrainian men who have received asylum is an issue that we will work on together with Ukraine to limit it, since it is extremely important that these men are in their country and helping it,” said Chancellor Nimeccini.
