From January 29, 2025, IDS can receive two subsidies simultaneously - for rental housing and payment of utilities, if they meet state support criteria. For registration, an official lease agreement is required, and you can submit an application both offline and online through the PFU portal (Pension Fund of Ukraine).
This was stated by the Ministry of Social Policy Oksana Zholnovich. The housing rental subsidy became possible thanks to a government initiative aimed at helping IDPs forced to rent apartments or houses. At the same time, they can receive a standard housing subsidy for utility bills if they meet the criteria. According to Zholnovich, the main condition for obtaining a subsidy is an official housing lease agreement, which must be concluded between the tenant and the lessor.
