Russian occupying troops are powerfully shelling the Azot plant in Severodonetsk, Lugansk region with large-caliber enemy artillery. There are people hiding.

This was announced by the head of the Regional State Administration (OVA) Sergey Gaidai.

According to him, Azot's shelters are not as strong as those of Mariupol's Azovstal..

There are currently about 500 residents in its shelters, of which 40 are children..

The authorities are trying to conduct an organized evacuation with security guarantees. At the same time, all the people who were there earlier refused to leave the city..

Gaidai says occupiers control 70% of Severodonetsk. Mass evacuation and delivery of humanitarian cargo is impossible due to shelling. The military manages to take out only a few people a day.
