Russian troops do not stop shelling the border areas of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

According to the State Border Guard Service, on May 18, seven such shellings took place from the territory of Russia: five in the Sumy region, two in the Chernihiv region.

The enemy used heavy machine guns, automatic grenade launchers, cannon and rocket artillery.

The longest shelling lasted about an hour. His Russians were using mortars from the side of the village of Zernovoe along the territory near one of the border settlements of the Shostkinsky district of the Sumy region.
