During the development of the territory of the Shevchenko district of the capital, employees of the operational search department of the capital's central board detained a group of persons for theft from a car. In the center of Kiev, on Lev Tolstoy Street, the police turned their attention to suspicious people and decided to follow them.. The attackers broke the glass in the car and stole a bag with money and personal belongings of the victim, but were detained immediately after committing theft. "It was established that all three detainees are foreigners: among them there is a person previously convicted of robbery, another one - at the time of the crime was under house arrest for committing a robbery," the police said in the capital. Investigators began criminal proceedings on h. 2 st. 185 (Theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for up to five years in prison.
