The Kharkov local prosecutor's office No. 2 approved the indictment against the head of the department for the training of foreign students of one of the private universities of Kharkov.

As the head of the local prosecutor's office Alexander Filchakov, a 57-year-old woman is accused of organizing illegal migration (h. 1 and 2 items. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and forgery of official documents (h. 2, 3 and 4 items. 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), - the press service of the oblast prosecutor's office.

Pre-trial investigation found that in the period 2014-2016. the head of the department was engaged in fictitious registration in foreign universities.

"On behalf of Vietnamese citizens, it consisted of forged applications for admission to the university, as well as applications for the granting of a residence permit. "Fake" documents a woman filed in the migration service, where she received the residence permits, "- said in a statement.

In order to hide their "transactions", it created the appearance of the learning process, but some "students" did not even know exactly where their institution was located.

Now the indictment was sent to the Dzerzhinsky District Court of Kharkiv. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment from 5 to 7 years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities up to 3 years.

The suspect is currently under house arrest.
