According to the publication, the incident occurred near the beach of San Mateo in the Ecuadorian province of Manabi. All three crew members who were on board the liner, died from the injuries at the scene of the accident.

According to the rescue service of Ecuador, immediately after receiving the signal about the disaster, rescuers, police and representatives of the air force went to the scene.

The Main Department of Civil Aviation of the country began to investigate the causes of the crash.
