According to the director of the correctional center Julio Magan, a fire in the building arose during the riots organized by prisoners. They set fire to the mattresses, after which the fire spread to the center.
Emergency workers had to break down the walls of the center to rescue teenagers.
Now, law enforcement agencies establish all the circumstances of what happened.
As previously reported in "URA-Inform", in Kiev near the European Square there was a fire. The fire occurred in the abandoned cellars around eight o'clock in the morning. At the scene immediately came rescuers, who had already extinguished the flame.
