According to recently received information, a quarrel arose between several men, during which a woman appeared and smashed an empty bottle of wine about the head of a 21-year-old guy. After this, a fight broke out between men.

Later it turned out that the instigator of the fight was a 37-year-old Russian woman.

As a result of the scuffle, a woman and six other men, presumably Australians, were detained. All were removed from the liner and handed over to law enforcers.

Later, the men were released, and the woman was taken to the Newtown police station, where they were charged with deliberate harm to health. Now a Russian woman is to stand trial March 9.

The injured passenger himself received lacerations of his head. He was given medical assistance right on the ship.
