Earlier, at the checkpoints on these sections of the border, huge queues formed due to the fact that many workers returned from earnings in Slovakia and Poland for Christmas and New Year's holidays to their families. Now the State Border Service of Ukraine managed to properly coordinate the traffic on all the lanes of the route at the approaches to the border checkpoints. As a result, all checkpoints on the border with Poland and Slovakia continue to operate in ordinary mode. This was achieved in cooperation with law enforcement agencies.
The whole operation took a day, the accumulation of transport in the coming days is not expected.
As reported in "URA-Inform", earlier queues of trucks on the Ukrainian-Slovak border stretched for several kilometers.
