The US provided Japan with new missile defense systems

Some more such missile defense system Tokyo plans to purchase in 2023 due to the increased threat of a missile strike from Pyongyang.

As reported in URA-Inform, former US Defense Secretary James Mattis said that Pyongyang's ballistic missiles could never reach Washington.
