The district prosecutor's office of the Polish city of Rzeszow brought accusations of inciting hatred towards the Ukrainian people to a 35-year-old Polish citizen who painted the building of the Ukrainian honorary consulate with anti-Ukrainian inscriptions.

This is reported by European truth with reference to "Rzeczpospolita".

The suspect confessed to the crime he committed, and as a motive he called the rush of emotions.

"Until now, the collected evidence allowed us to assume that the suspect's behavior was purely his own initiative, not inspired by someone from the outside," said the head of the prosecutor's office Rzeszow Renata Krut-Voinarovskaya.

In addition to accusations of inciting hatred, the man will be charged with damage to the property of the consulate.

Damage estimated at 2.5 thousand zl.

For these crimes the Pole faces up to 5 years of imprisonment.

Recall that in early October it became known that unknown people left anti-Ukrainian inscriptions on the wall of the building of the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Polish Rzeszow.

Later it became known that the crime was committed by one person - the man was fixed by CCTV cameras, which allowed him to quickly identify him and detain him.
