This is reported by Deutsche Welle.

According to the source, the man is accused of murdering the US ambassador, as well as three employees of the Libyan consulate in Benghazi. The American Intelligence Agency does not exclude that the detainee Mustafa al-Imam could have connections with Libyan terrorists.

The operation to detain a suspect was approved personally by US President Donald Trump, in conjunction with Libyan government law enforcers. Recall that Christopher Stevens died during the uprising against Muammar Gaddafi in 2012, as a result of which the Libyan leader was brutally murdered.

As reported in the "URA-Inform", recently in the Libyan capital Tripoli, a group of armed men kidnapped former prime minister of the country Ali Zeidan.
