An ancient violin, which was tried outside the border and customs control to take out of Ukraine, found border guards in Transcarpathia.

According to the State Border Service, the departure of an ancient musical instrument was prevented last night by border guards of the Chop detachment together with customs officers at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod". During the inspection of the Volkswagen Touareg car, heading to Slovakia, the general review team found in the trunk a violin dated 1857.

To take out from Ukraine a musical instrument, which, most likely, represents a cultural and historical value, tried our 20-year-old compatriot.

Now the subject is confiscated, the exact historical and cultural value of the violin will be determined after the examination.
