The real Scandinavian detective was the accident of the largest private submarine Nautilus, after which the only passenger disappeared without trace, the Swedish journalist Kim Vall. The owner of the boat, the Danish inventor Peter Madsen, at the invitation of which Vall went on that fateful boat trip, was so confused in his testimony about what happened that he became the only suspect in the death of a woman 10 days ago.

On the evening of August 21, a woman's body without a head and upper and lower limbs was found on the shore a few kilometers from Copenhagen. Danish police suggest that the find is the body of a missing journalist. The opinion of forensic experts on this issue will be known by the evening of Tuesday, said the head of the investigation department of the Copenhagen police murders Jens Muller, writes Vesti. En.

Submarine Nautilus with the Danish inventor Peter Madsen and Swedish journalist Kim Vall on board went to the sea on the evening of August 10. The owner of the boat and the journalist connected only professional interest, Vall prepared a report about an unusual boat and its inventor. The walk should not have taken long, the journalist's friend announced her loss the next morning. After several hours of searching the submarine it turned out that the boat sank near Copenhagen, and its owner was rescued by a yacht passing by.

On the same day, the inventor informed the police that he did not know the whereabouts of the missing journalist. According to Madsen, after several hours of sailing, he landed her on the shore.

On the sunken boat, which a few days later raised from a depth of 7 m, the journalist's body was not. All this time, the coast guard of Denmark and Sweden was searching for Kim Vall.

Madsen's testimony about the fate of his companion changed shortly before the discovery of the dismembered body. He told the police that an accident occurred on the boat, as a result of which Vall was killed. According to Madsen, he buried the dead journalist in the sea (t. Just dropped her body into the water). Investigators charged the engineer with an unintentional murder, leaving him in custody until 5 September. However, the dismembered body of the casualty victim raises many questions, for which Madsen and his lawyers do not have convincing answers.

Peter Madsen is a 46-year-old Danish engineer and inventor, winner of various awards. Submarine UC3 Nautilus, he launched in 2008. The submarine is one of the largest amateur submarines in the world - 18 m long, 33 tons in weight. Nautilus stayed afloat until 2010. , Then because of the accident the boat was sent to major repairs. In April 2017, the boat again went into the sea.

Also from childhood Madsen interested in missile technology, he is working on a draft of amateur device for manned flight into space. Danish media have already nicknamed the engineer "Madsen Rocket".

Familiar with the inventor, journalists note his intractable nature. He always has great ambitions and it's difficult to get along with others, wrote reporter Thomas Jursing, who wrote about Madsen's book, RIA Novosti writes.

However, Madsen's bad character is not yet a reason to suspect him of a maniacal rape over a journalist. It is not excluded that the body found on Monday evening belonged to another woman. And then the Danish detectives will have two complex puzzles instead of one.
