Such information is reported by the television channel Al Arabiya.

As noted, unknown people took the former head of government in an unknown direction.

In turn, law enforcers determined that the kidnappers belong to the pro-government Revolutionary Brigade of Tripoli.

"Militants kidnapped former Prime Minister of Libya Ali Zeidan when he was in a hotel in the Libyan capital of Tripoli," police officers said..

Under similar circumstances Zeydan was abducted in 2013 by fighters of the Operational Staff of Libyan revolutionaries.

Ali Zeidan served as Prime Minister of Libya from the autumn of 2012 to March 2014.

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform", two residents of the Donetsk region were arrested on suspicion of kidnapping a person.
