Fortunately, the pilot managed to catapult. He was found alive with the help of a United States Coast Guard helicopter.

According to an official report of the US Department of Defense, published on Twitter, the pilot of the light multi-role fighter F-5N Tiger II was wrecked 20 nautical miles from the shore during a training flight.

He did not receive serious injuries and is currently in the hospital of Lower Keys, where he is examined by doctors. US Department of State begins investigation of the incident.
