The high-speed train "Sapsan" was supposed to get off the rails and collide with an oncoming train near the station "Porforovskaya" in St. Petersburg. The escape of the accident was helped only by the negligence of terrorists.

The attack on the railway planned to commit seven people from Central Asia. Information on their detention on July 28 promulgated the FSB of the Russian Federation, sparing that the criminals expected to crash with numerous victims. Details of the planned crime to the publication "47news" were told in law enforcement agencies.

As it turned out, the criminals installed a Moscow-St. Petersburg construction similar to the "shoe" - so the railwaymen call a metal lining for a pair of wheels designed to fix the train in place. Place and time was chosen not by chance: not far from the station "Porforovskaya", when two counter "Sapsan" sweep past each other.

The villains expected that a sharp stop of a train flying at a huge speed would throw the train up and to the side, as a result, two Sapsans would crash at once,. Prevented the catastrophe unpreparedness of the saboteurs. They fixed the "shoe" on the rail not with a strong metal stud, but with two bolts. And the defense of the train simply carried the dangerous object off the track.
