As part of the investigation into the criminal case against Yanukovych from the top leadership of the Ministry of Income and the collections of the times of Alexander Klimenko, 24 people were detained, 9 suspects were in custody, 13 were pledged for more than 37 million UAH, and two were given a preventive measure in the form of personal Commitments. This was reported in the press service of the GPU.
The Chief Military Prosecutor's Office lodged appeals with the court's rulings on refusal to satisfy requests for a preventive measure in the form of custody, of which at present 2 has been granted, and suspects have been given a preventive measure in the form of detention. 9 appeals appeals are currently pending before the court. In addition, the appellate court refused to satisfy the complaints of the defense and left in force the preventive measure in the form of detention in respect of 3 suspects, 2 more complaints were withdrawn at the initiative of the defense party.
However, with respect to 4 suspects, three of whom had previously been prosecuted for participation in the criminal organization of Yanukovych and one disabled, the preliminary investigation body filed petitions for applying a preventive measure in the form of a pledge.
Of the persons who were chosen as a preventive measure in the form of custody with the possibility of making a pledge, as well as persons for whom a preventive measure in the form of a pledge was applied, it was introduced by 15 suspects for a total of 37 million 137 thousand 912 UAH.
