Around 17:00 in Russia there was a huge malfunction while servicing bank plastic cards. Problems with obtaining money tested customers of the Savings Bank: they simply could not pay a card at retail outlets. The press service of the credit institution said that the problems with the service today are experienced by all financial structures.

However, an official comment from Sberbank has not yet been received. The reasons for the failure are also unknown.

VTB-24 explained that they have problems with cards connected with technical reasons, they write "Vedomosti". But in the call centers of Raffaizenbank, Unicreditbank, "Discovery" and Promsvyazbank reported that it is impossible to pay due to problems with the cards of the institutions themselves.

However, at the official level, no one commented on the information.
