In Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained a man who, according to the investigation, beat and robbed a 69-year-old woman. The attacker attacked a pensioner when she hid in the underpass during air anxiety, taking with her all her savings and valuable things.

This was reported in the press service of the metropolitan police. The suspect threatens up to 10 years in prison.

According to law enforcement officers, they received a notification of robbery in the underpass. The applicant said that during the air anxiety she was heading for the shelter, where an unknown man suddenly attacked her, began to beat and forcibly took the bag.

" After the crime was committed, the striker disappeared in an unknown direction, ”the press service added.

The police set the identity of the alleged attacker and detained him-they turned out to be a 28-year-old man who previously convicted of similar crimes. He seized gold jewelry and part of the stolen money of the victim. On the fact of robbery committed in martial law, criminal proceedings were opened, and the detainee was reported to suspicion.
