Law enforcement officers of Kyiv exposed another channel for transporting military persons across the state border of Ukraine. The attacker offered marriage to a woman with a disability for $7 thousand.

“The underground “marriage agency” was set up by a 43-year-old resident of the Kiev region, who on the Internet was looking for men of military age who wanted to avoid mobilization. The defendant offered potential “clients” to marry women who had officially approved 1st or 2nd group disability, so that they could freely go abroad. The service cost $7,000, $4,000 of which had to be paid immediately,” the police said..

It is noted that after making an advance payment, the newlyweds got married, registered all the necessary documents with a notary and traveled together to one of the European countries.

According to the investigation, thus, since April 2024, the attacker has helped two people liable for military service leave Ukraine.

The police detained the organizer of the scheme and his 40-year-old accomplice immediately after leaving the notary, when they were going to transport the third “client” abroad. The husband had already managed to pay his “wife” 1,500 dollars, the rest was supposed to be given to her after crossing the border. Criminal proceedings have been initiated into this fact, and two detained women were informed of suspicion.
