The EU plans to discuss the issue of a ban on issuing visas to Russians. Radio Liberty journalist Rikard Jozwiak announced this on Twitter.
He noted that EU ministers plan to meet in Prague at the end of August.. However, according to Yozwiak, the countries of the bloc, most likely, will not be able to reach an agreement on this issue..
“At the moment, it is unlikely that the EU as a whole will jointly agree to stop issuing tourist visas to Russians, but, as is the case with many EU sanctions against Russia this year, anything is possible.. This will be discussed at the meeting of EU ministers in Prague at the end of the month,” the journalist wrote..
