Head of the Odessa region police Dmitry Golovin and five of his subordinates were beaten during a protest against the building of a public garden in Odessa. This is reported on the page of his unit in Facebook on Saturday, November 18. According to Golovin, who received an injury to his head, the walls of order operated professionally, and the conflict was provoked by people in balaclava. Civilians did not suffer. Criminal cases on hooliganism and violence against guardians of the order are raised. As the head of the department of preventive activities of the Odessa police chief Ivan Ischenko wrote on his Facebook page, the civil action was called "Our Summer Garden".

The police, he said, did not interfere with the protesters, and Golovin received a stone on the head just after the words that no one can restrict the free passage to the square and activists can provide civil control over what will happen in this territory. Earlier on November 18, a video of the attack of Ukrainian radicals on the Ukrainian theater in Odessa was published, where Konstantin Raikin was due to make a speech. The event was thwarted.
