Direct flights will connect Moscow and Bali

Between Moscow and the Indonesian island of Bali in August, the first direct flight will be launched. On this Thursday, July 6, writes the magazine Tempo. Such information was shared with the publication by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia to Russia Mohamad Vahid Supadiyadi. The concrete date for the opening of regular flights was not named. According to the diplomat, the liners from Moscow will accept the airport of Denpasar. The national airline of the Republic of Garuda Indonesia intends to work in this direction. Flights will be operated three times a week. It is assumed that the direct flight will take 11 hours. At present, citizens traveling to Bali from Moscow are forced to make a transplant. The flight eventually takes at least 20 hours. As explained by Supriadi, Indonesian authorities hope to attract more tourists from Russia.

In case the new flight becomes popular, direct flights can also be opened in the republic in other areas, for example, between Moscow and Jakarta. The diplomat also said that in the first quarter of 2017, 45 thousand Russian tourists visited Indonesia. During the same period, about 500,000 Russian citizens visited Thailand. Supjadi urged to struggle with the Asian kingdom for having a rest. Bali is one of the popular tourist destinations for Russians. Currently, they get there with transfers in Singapore, Doha, Kuala Lumpur and other cities.
