Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia Calls for Removing Vladimir Lenin's Body from Red Square in Moscow.

This is stated in the message of the Bishops' Council of the ROCA.

"We urge to remove from the central square of the country the body of the one with whom the formation of the God-struggling power is connected, which has sacrificed millions of lives for the sacrifice of its ideology," the text says..

The authors of the document urged "to say goodbye to the symbols of God-fighting, to get rid of the former glorification of the murderers by the names of cities and villages, streets and squares, stations and parks".

Earlier, Duma deputies from the fractions of "United Russia" and the LDPR introduced a bill that provides a legal mechanism for the burial of the remains of Vladimir Lenin.

As reported by the "Observer", later in Russia offered an unexpected alternative to the funeral of Lenin.
