The head of state today signed a relevant resolution. As reported by "Armenpress", referring to the information of the information and public relations department of the Armenian government, the president decided to continue his duties until the formation of a new government.

As stated in the resolution, the head of state was guided by Article 55 of the Armenian Constitution in the 2005 edition and taking into account the convocation of the newly elected Armenian National Assembly. The decree comes into force from the moment of signing.
