For the beating of British citizens, fans of the Liverpool football club, detained students of one of the universities of Kiev. This was reported by the head of the Metropolitan Police, Andrei Krishchenko on Friday, May 25.

"Two were detained, taken to the district administration, these are citizens of Ukraine. 1997 year of birth, students of one of the universities of Kiev, refused to give explanations, "said Kristchenko.

According to him, there is open production on h. 2 items. 296 (hooliganism), investigative actions.

Krishchenko noted that the police informed the British consulate about the incident. He also said that the condition of the victims does not require serious medical intervention, they were provided with primary medical care, from giving explanations for the incident, British citizens refused.

The head of the police of Kiev added, considering that on Friday the mass arrival of foreign citizens is expected, the police continue to serve in a strengthened mode and checks all places of mass congestion of fans.
