Ukraine announces general mobilization due to Russian invasion. During mobilization, it is not allowed to travel abroad for military service citizens, but there are some exceptions. People's deputies propose to expand the list of persons who can travel abroad. This is stated in the draft law No. 7484-1 on amendments to the Law of Ukraine "

Which of the Ukrainians may be allowed to travel outside the country.

According to the document, it is proposed to allow men to leave Ukraine during mobilization who have:.

three or more children under the age of 18;

two children under 14;

one child under 14 and a pregnant woman;

one child under the age of three.

In addition, they propose to allow citizens to leave Ukraine who:.

have real estate, business (as an owner or co-owner), a permanent residence permit in other countries;

have valid work (or sports) contracts (sailors);

through the opening of such an opportunity, they will bring more benefits to the domestic economy (and hence defense capability) than, being in Ukraine, often without work and without the opportunity to support themselves and their families, support the volunteer movement, etc..

Expansion of the list of persons not subject to mobilization.

The draft law proposes to expand the categories of citizens who are not subject to conscription during mobilization - among those who already perform important functions in the rear.

“That is, they will also be able to mobilize, but on a voluntary basis, when they consider that they are ready both physically and morally to defend the Fatherland with weapons in their hands, and that it is in this role that they will be more useful for the state,” the explanatory note says..

According to Art..

23 of the Law "

Thus, a person who has a deferment from military service cannot travel abroad to meet his own needs or the needs of his family.. To resolve this issue, the bill provides for the possibility of leaving Ukraine for certain categories of persons specified in Article 23 of the Law "

Recall that the Center for Counteracting Disinformation denied the fakes on handing the summons to a woman in Ukraine. JRC published a photo of the summons allegedly received by one of the women in Ukraine. This fake was distributed in Russian media.
