President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Christine Muttonen and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated the need for an immediate and objective investigation into the car bombing with OSCE observers in the occupied part of the Lugansk region. During the explosion, a member of the monitoring mission died, at least two were injured.

"The death of one of our colleagues who carry out a vital mission is a shock to all of us. I confirm the statement of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office of Austria, which calls for a thorough investigation and bringing the perpetrators to justice, "said Muttonen, circulated by the OSCE press service on Sunday, April 23.

The NATO secretary-general, in turn, wrote in a microblog on Twitter: "A thorough investigation of the tragic incident with the OSCE CMM in eastern Ukraine is necessary. Security and freedom of movement must be preserved ".
