The technology developed by NASA specialists allows to significantly reduce the noise created by aircraft during landing and improve the living conditions near airports. This is reported in NASA.

Thus, due to the simultaneous application of several techniques, the noise level of the Gulfstream III test aircraft was reduced by more than 70%. It is specified that we are talking only about the noise of the glider, but not about the noise of running engines.

For these purposes, the developers used porous or perforated chassis fairings, without sacrificing aerodynamic resistance.

In addition, the niche of the chassis including installation of elements on a forward edge, filling of a back part of a niche with foam and installation of a grid smoothing an air stream.

However, in order to reduce the noise of the wing, NASA used an experimental flexible flap, previously developed within the framework of the ACTE project, which is a seamless structure.

Earlier in the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reported that the construction of Hyperloop will be cheaper and more profitable than the railway and air traffic.
