Hackers threatened to lay out the finale of the seventh season of "Game of Thrones"

Hackers who hacked the computer network of the HBO television channel threaten to post on the Internet the last episode of the seventh season of the series "The Game of Thrones" to its official premiere. This is reported by Mashable.

The publication received from hackers letter in which they state that already have access to many platforms HBO and intend to publish the final of the seventh season. As proof they sent a Mashable list of passwords from TV channel accounts in social networks and Giphy service.

The HBO press service repeated the comment that was circulated earlier. According to him, the channel does not negotiate with burglars and does not intend to respond to every document they publish.

About cyberattack on HBO network it became known on August 1. Hackers said they managed to access thousands of company files, and posted the script for the fourth episode of the seventh season of "The Game of Thrones". Three days later, the fourth series was completely merged.

August 8, hackers published the script of the fifth series, and then distributed the personal information of the actors involved in the series.



A few days later, the Indian police detained four people on suspicion of organizing a diversion.

Mashable notes that hackers demand a ransom in bitcoins worth 6.5 million dollars (383 million rubles).

"Game of Thrones" is on the HBO channel since 2011. The literary basis of the fantasy saga was the series of books "The Song of Ice and Flame" by American writer George Martin. The premiere of the last series of the seventh season is scheduled for August 27.
