Napoli have added striker Romelu Lukaku to the list of players who are ready to sell during the summer transfer window.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the club intends to reduce spending on salaries in order to eliminate more financial burden before new transfers.
One of the main reasons for the possible sale of the Belgian striker is his current salary of 8.
5 million euros, which the club respects due to the great pressure on the budget.
Napoli also expects that the successful performance of the 33-year-old forward at the World Cup 2026 will stimulate interest in other clubs and will help find a buyer this summer.
Lukaku played in just seven matches last season, scoring one goal in all of them.
It was previously reported that Lukaku had reached the top three Belgian national team record holders in just a few matches.
